Office trailers are a familiar sight at many construction projects. Designed to provide temporary work and/or storage space, these mobile trailers are self-contained offices on wheels. They're useful in more than just construction: they can provide office space for all kinds of businesses at very short notice.
Like modular buildings, office trailers are completely constructed in a factory environment. This includes the basic construction – frame, walls, doors, windows and roof – as well as extras like wiring, lighting, heat, and air conditioning. Factory construction sometimes includes extras like built-in desks and tables.
You can choose from different floor plans depending on your needs – you may want your mobile office to feature one large room with several workstations, or you may choose a layout that includes a private office. Mobile offices are available with bathrooms built in – we suggest you ask carefully about the bathroom, as some smaller trailers only feature chemical toilets, similar to a port-a-john.
What's in a name?
These trailers go by many interchangeable names – use whichever you're comfortable with:

Dealers and Installation
Make sure you spend some time evaluating the dealer, in addition to their products. Look for a shop that's been in business long enough to have a decent reputation in your area. Consider the inventory they have available: you'll want to be able to choose from multiple trailers to find the one that's right for you. Ready to find office trailer dealers? We can help.
The dealer will handle the delivery and setup of your trailer. You'll need the trailer "blocked" for stability, and you'll need at least one set of stairs installed. If you're going to use the trailer for sales or interactions with the public, you'll probably want a few cosmetic enhancements, such as a skirt that wraps around the bottom of the trailer to hide the undercarriage.
And as with modular buildings, a little landscaping can go a long way. A few bushes and a gravel walkway can make a trailer seem a little less temporary without requiring much time or money.
